El reto
Las calles con más sol son las que menos se benefician
Los centros históricos concentran personas, patrimonio y vida económica; sin embargo, las estrictas normas de conservación, el trazado medieval denso y la pobreza energética mantienen las renovables lejos de sus tejados. Los lugares con más sol lo aprovechan menos, y sus vecinos pagan más por una energía más sucia.

Las Soluciones de Uso Compartido de Energía y las Comunidades de Energía Renovable permiten que todo un barrio produzca y consuma energía limpia como uno solo, alimentando edificios históricos desde paneles instalados cerca y manteniendo el valor en el territorio.

Energy communities in historic centres.
Across the Mediterranean, the districts with the deepest history often carry the heaviest energy burden. Dense street patterns, protected façades and ageing buildings make conventional renewables hard to install, while many residents face rising bills and energy poverty.

Historic centres concentrate people, cultural value and economic life, yet they are routinely left out of energy programmes designed for new build.
Energy Sharing Solutions turn that constraint into an opportunity. Instead of asking each building to power itself, a Renewable Energy Community pools a shared generation placed where it is allowed: nearby roofs, public buildings, car parks.
The pay-off is measurable on three fronts at once: lower emissions, lower bills, and stronger local ties.
SHAREN tests the model in real conditions. Four frontrunner pilots are built and monitored; two follower pilots adapt the approach for replication.
